1. Lenovo IdeaCentre F0EW005TUS – Recommended All in One Computer for Home Use
First up we have our most recommended All in One PC for home users. We say this because its performance and its value is just right for what home use generally entails.
To starters let us talk about the processors. This All in One desktop features a Ryzen 3 4300U processor and if you have been following processors as of late, you will know that AMD Ryzen 4th gen has out done the competition by a huge margin this time.
This processor is significantly more powerful than the competition it faces from Core i3 processors for the 10th Gen Intel series and hence for home use, this is more than just sufficient.
In fact, forget about the i3 processors, this even beats the Core i5 processors from the 10 gen by a good margin.
The beauty is that while being significantly powerful, it still maintains the low price factor.
Hence, as far as sheer value goes, this is the best all in one computer for home use.
But besides that, it also offers an ample 8 GB of RAM as well as 256 GB of SSD. This is more than sufficient for home users.
The screen is a comfortable and a gorgeous 24″ IPS display with very slim bezels. It is NOT touchscreen though.
It does not come bundled with a keyboard or a mouse but it does have webcam, and built in WiFi and Bluetooth.
2. Lenovo IdeaCentre F0EW005SUS – Powerful AIO Desktop for Home Office
This is another AIO desktop from Lenovo. This is basically the upscale version of the previously mentioned AIO PC.
While marginally more expensive, it also improves over the performance significantly compared to the AIO PC above.
For starters, this features the powerful Ryzen 5 4500U processors. Again, if you have been following processors, this is THE most loved mobile processor out there of the current gen. It has improved by almost 50% than its predecessor the Ryzen 5 3500U – a jump rarely seen in successive processor lines.
This is a processor far more capable of just basic home use. You can literally establish a home office with this to do some heavy lifting.
Other than a highly reputable processor, it also comes with a very good 16 GB of RAM and a high 512 GB of SSD. Both of which make this literally a professional grade AIO desktop.
Whether it is designing or creating youtube videos from home etc, you could do some much on this machine.
Again, its midrange price tag may be a little too high for those looking to perform basic work.
However, if you plan on establishing a home office or perhaps if you need something with significant power then this is the best all in one computer for home use.
3. HP dp0160 – Performance Grade AIO Desktop with Touch
Next up we have yet another high performance desktop for home use but this adds a 24″ touchscreen to its list of features.
Now in terms of performance, this is similar to the Lenovo above. This offers the same powerful and a reputable Ryzen 5 4500U processor good enough for intermediate levels of work.
Furthermore, while it does have 512 GB of SSD, it offers 12 GB of RAM which 4 GB less than Lenovo above.
Again, the performance drop will be unnoticeable between 16 and 12 GB of RAM for a basic home user. 12 GB of RAM is still quite significant for heavy multitasking or even for professional software.
Of course, the real catch of this All in One desktop is the touchscreen. If you do designing with a stylus or if you just like an added layer for navigation a touchscreen offers then this is the best all in one computer for home use.
Another important point to note here is that this comes with a wired keyboard and a mouse. The keyboard itself is very comfortable featuring low profile keys for fast typing.
The keyboard and the mouse alone can balance out the price difference between this and the previously mentioned Lenovo AIO desktop let alone the touchscreen.
So in short, if you are looking for a gorgeous model with touch capability, then this is the best all in one computer for home use in our opinion.
4. HP Pavilion 22-df0022 – Affordable Small AIO PC
HP Pavilion 22-df0022 is a desktop for those looking for the most affordable and a capable machine for home use.
We would not recommend going for anything lower than this since we do not want you face any lag whatsoever on basic use.
If your home use revolves around basic word processing, social media use, watching youtube videos or the children doing their home work, then yo do not need anything more expensive than this.
This AIO desktop features an low-end AMD Athlon Gold 3150U processor. This is almost similar in performance to the Intel Core i3 processors, but not quite as so.
As far as basic work goes, this should serve you quite well. It has a low 4 GB of RAM and a decent 256 GB of SSD.
Sure this will not win any speed record, but if you work is only limited than you can have for yourself a gorgeous machine at a very affordable price tag.
Another point to note here is that unlike the options mentioned above, this has a 22 inch screen. The smaller screen means it has a smaller footprint and thus can sit in small areas as well.
Moreover, this too comes packages with a keyboard and mouse for good measure.
In the end, if you want an economical option, then this is the best all in one desktop for home use in our opinion.
5. Acer Aspire C27-962-UA91 – 27 Inch Large Screen AIO Desktop
If you specifically want to a large 27 inch option, then this is the best all in one computer for home use in our opinion.
There is no doubt that a large 27 inch screen is not just comfortable for work but also for entertainment. Hence, if a large gorgeous bezeless screen appeals to you, then you can look in to this.
As far as the performance goes, this features a decent Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor. While not as powerful as the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processors, it is still fairly capable for more than just home use.
You can use this for professional software as well given that the work performed is of beginner or intermediate level.
Other than that, it features a good 12 GB of RAM as well as 512 GB of SSD.
One significant point to note here is that this features a dedicated graphics card i.e the NVIDIA MX130.
While this is still an entry level dedicated graphics card and not suitable for gaming at all, this can be useful if you work on designing or editing software.
Moreover, this comes as a complete package included a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

Processor
For home use, you do not need a high performance processor. Since home use entails basic work like word processing, social media use, school work etc, you can get a low-end processor and still be happy with the performance.
As far as specific models we go, we generally prefer you stick with something along the line of Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 processors.
These are affordable processors but have performance that is more than ample for home use. AMD Ryzen 4th Gen processors particularly have left a significant mark and hence we recommend them at the moment at least until Intel decides to release more valuable processors.
We also recommend looking into Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 series of processors if you think you will work on somewhat demanding software or if you just want something that is future proof.
AMD Athlon and Intel Pentium processors can also be recommended if you are on a tight budget, but just remember you get what you pay for. Do not expect PC based around these processors to perform lag free on heavier demand.
RAM
As far as the RAM goes, 8 GB is more than enough for home use. All the basic home use tasks under the sun can be done on a system with 8 GB of RAM.
In fact, even 4 GB of RAM is more sufficient for users on a tight budget.
16 GB of RAM or higher is only recommended if you run a home office dedicated to creative content creation or editing.
